TitleZ: Terms of Use

Please read this carefully, as it explains, among other things, the nature of "Beta" testing and what that might mean for you.

First, about our software:
TitleZ is a software product, provided to its users via the Internet in much the same way that other Internet-based products are delivered (such as Yahoo! Mail or eBay). You don't need to install any software to use TitleZ; your existing Internet browser is all that is required.

Beta testing defined:
TitleZ is currently in "Beta" testing. This means that we have not yet completed development of TitleZ. Not all features are completely functional or available, and the site may perform slowly at times. In some cases, you may see cryptic error messages filled with computer-speak. And occasionally, the site might not work at all.

We're making TitleZ available to you for two reasons:

  1. We believe you will find the product useful, even if it's not perfect
  2. We want your feedback!

It's important for us to hear from you as you use TitleZ. We want to know what you like, don't like, and have questions about. We'd like to know how we can make TitleZ as useful as possible for you! Send your emails to us at feedback@TitleZ.com or use the "Send Us Feedback" button at the bottom of every page.

About money:
During our beta period, you're welcome to use TitleZ free of charge. Eventually, after we complete beta testing and officially release TitleZ, we will need to charge for access. We anticipate offering TitleZ as a subscription, on a monthly basis. We're not yet sure how much a monthly subscription will cost, but be assured that it is our goal to make TitleZ affordable for small publishers and authors.

And when will we start charging? We are aiming to release TitleZ later this year (2006). Don't worry, we'll let you know well in advance. And as a TitleZ beta user, you'll receive an appealing offer for staying with us!

The usual legal mumbo-jumbo:
The TitleZ beta product and technical support are provided "as is" without warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

In no event will TitleZ or its owner,The Planning Shop, be liable for any damages related to the use of TitleZ, including but not limited to any lost profits, lost savings, lost data, or any incidental or consequential damages, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by you based on a third party claim.

At this time, TitleZ is a work-in-progress. We reserve the right to make modifications to the product at our discretion, including changing or removing features or functionality. We further reserve the right to remove TitleZ from beta testing at any time or discontinue offering access to TitleZ altogether.

Finally: thanks for using TitleZ!
